Product Description

MCX Female Straight PCB Mount Solder Connector

SIPU RF Technology developed the MCX Female Straight PCB Mount Solder Connector (SIPU-MCX-KHD), a subminiature RF connector for high-density PCB integration. The connection has a conventional 50Ω impedance, VSWR ≤1.3, insertion loss ≤0.06√F (GHz) dB, and is designed for use in frequencies from DC to 6 GHz.

SIPU has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing and maintains the same quality standards as those used in military production. The straight vertical orientation offers a direct signal channel with little reflection and simplified PCB architecture. The connection is manufactured using brass gold-plated outer conductor and beryllium bronze gold-plated center contact. The connector is rated ≥500 mating cycles, and reliable operation is guaranteed from -65℃ to +125℃.

Its solder-mount construction provides robust electrical contact and durable mechanical bonding, perfect for wireless infrastructure, vehicle telematics and precise instruments.

Product Features and Advantages

Straight PCB Design for Optimal Signal Integrity

The vertical design of the MCX Female Straight PCB Mount Solder Connector provides a more direct RF signal channel, decreasing insertion loss and reflection. The design ensures clean, organised PCB layouts, and aids in assembly in large volume manufacturing scenarios.

Solder Mount for Permanent Reliability

This product features snap‑on coupling, PCB solder installation offers a solid, low-resistance connection between connector and board trace. It lowers the contact resistance, improves the grounding quality and offers long-term mechanical stability in hostile environments.

Compact Footprint for Space-Constrained Designs

This approach is around 30% smaller than typical SMB connections and can be easily integrated into dense layouts. It meets the increasing need of miniaturisation in today’s RF modules, IoT devices and automotive systems without sacrificing electrical performance.

High-Quality Materials for Durability

Contacts are gold-plated brass and beryllium bronze, resistant to oxidation and able to maintain low contact resistance over hundreds of mating cycles. The PTFE dielectric also exhibits outstanding heat stability and minimal signal loss throughout the complete frequency range.

Typical Applications

Wireless Infrastructure and IoT Gateways

The vertical stacking of RF modules in tiny LTE and 5G base stations requires connections with the smallest footprint and dependable electrical performance. The straight PCB mount style is enabling dense layouts and signal quality in high frequency communication.

Automotive GPS and Telematics

Vehicles have a difficult working environment: continual vibration, huge temperature changes and electromagnetic interference. Solder-mount attachment ensuresconnectivity is secured throughout the product lifespan. Mechanical stress might affect the RF performance of your GPS, telematics and entertainment devices.

Medical Diagnostic Equipment

Portable ultrasound, MRI interfaces and other precision diagnostic instruments demand low-profile connections that don’t compromise signal integrity. The MCX Female Straight PCB Mount Solder Connector is ideal for high-fidelity transmission and for electromagnetically sensitive applications where dependability is critical.

MCX Female Straight PCB Mount Solder Connector Application

Quality Control and Testing

SIPU RF Technology has strict inspection procedures throughout each manufacturing process. Special equipment tests each batch for dielectric withstanding voltage and insulating resistance. Plating thickness and adhesion are checked for consistent performance.

MCX Female Straight PCB Mount Solder Connector Certification

RoHs environmental testing is carried out batch by batch. RF loads and cable assemblies are fully electrically tested with VSWR and insertion loss, while in connectors these characteristics are design ensured by precision engineering and material selection.

Rest assured that every connection that leaves our plant is manufactured to stringent international standards including IEC 61169-36 compliance.
